Summary: Warning, do not order from this company
Comment: I ordered the Solia Professional Ceramic Ion Flat Iron (1-1/4"), it is a great product, as long as it works. After a few months of use, it broke, melted, and almost caught on fire. I have had more than 10 emails back and forth with this seller and the manufacturer. The manufacturer could care less and tells me to talk to the seller. The seller does not reply to my emails, other than a generic canned reply.
The seller wants me to pay for shipping to return the product, and also pay for shipping for them to return the repaired item back to me.
No matter how good this product is when it works, I would strongly recommend staying away from this seller, or the manufacturer. They do not stand behind their product, even in special cases where there was potential to burn my home down.
At this point, I just want my money back, I would never use this product out of principle. While there are many solid good reviews, those are all for customers whose product did not fail them. In those cases, I am sure you will be happy, but if you happen to get a bad product, consider it equivalent to throwing your money away, as you will never get it back, other than filing a claim with Visa which I plan on doing

Comment: The speed of the delivery shocked me. I ordered it before going on vacation and figured it would arrive when I arrived back home, but it arrived the day I left, which was two days after I ordered it. and I used standard shipping! I however left before the product arrived, but was still pleased with the promptness. The product is great. It is the lightest flat iron I have ever held. Usually my arm are killing me when I'm only 1/3 way through my hair (I have a lot of hair. and very very thick hair). It also heats up nicely so I don't waste any time waiting around for it to get hot. I like the different heat settings so my hair doesn't get fried. It does work on damp hair, but I only use it on dry hair because the sizzling still makes me cringe. The swivel cord is great; I never have to get tangled up again! I'm still working towards getting those perfect curls. It does curl hair though, with only one flip of the wrist which is amazing. The only negative aspect is the outside (black) shell, which appears to made of cheap material. It's dull-looking and makes me think it's going to fall apart easily. I still think it was worth the purchase.

Summary: Great Irons if they would keep working longer than they do
Comment: My daughter has the 1-3/4 inch and I had to replace it within a year because the swivel cord starting flickering the iron on and off. I myself have the 1-1/4 inch that I bought 1-1/2 years ago that now won't come on at all becuase of something wrong in the switch or something. My husband works on small electronics and he could not fix either one of them. For the kind of money that gets spent on these devices by so many people, they should be manufactured to last longer than a year or so. Otheriwse we both love how they do our hair. I just wish I did not have to keep buying one each year or so.

Comment: I have had this straightener for over 4 years. It still works just as good as the first day I received it. I know people who have went through 3 or 4 straightener in the time I have had my Solia. I would recommend this product to anyway with think wavy hair like mine. LOVE IT!!!!

Comment: I love this straightner! I have very difficult hair and it is very hard to get straight. Every straightner that I used dries out my hair and then makes it frizzy on top of that. Not this one! My hair is very smooth after using it and I can adjust the temperature so it's not too hot! My hair is just below my sholders and it only takes 10-15 minutes to straightner it. I don't have to wait for the iron to heat up again and I don't have to run it through my hair multiple times, like how I had to with the cheap ones. My mom loved this straightner so much too that I ended up buying her one for christmas!
