Comment: I love this machine. But I have discovered something. You can use regular freezer bags if you just cut the top zipper off. It works great especially in a pinch.

Summary: Better than the new and improved Smart Seal
Comment: This style of vacuum sealer is much more user friendly than the new and improved "Smart Seal". This unit has a manual button for sealing and it seals every time, no jocking around to trigger the sinsor to get it to seal. I am going to buy a second unit to keep just incase they discontinue this model.

Comment: I gave this to my Mother as a gift. She couldn't use her old machine anymore due to not having any strenght in her hands to hold it down. She loves this one because it does everything itself. I have no first hand knowledge of how it works but Mom likes it.

Comment: I bought this product as a deal of the day 3 weeks ago,I just got around to trying it today,and I was very disappointed to find out it does'nt work,its loud and it does'nt vacuum at all.I hope I have good luck with customer service. I"ll call monday.I think I"ll stick to buying appliances locally.
