Summary: So Easy My 10 Tear Old Did It
Comment: I'd seen this for 2 years and had wanted to get it for my son but back then, he wasn't into FPS games much. This last year he discovered Half Life and has become addicted. He loves that game, so I showed him the video on the main GC site and his eyes lit up. It didn't even occur to me until this month that there was a free trial download. So about half an hour ago I downloaded the trial and set it up on the laptop he uses, and then found a tutorial someone at metacafe did making the game in 10 minutes. I let him watch it and he got the gist of it...and in 15 minutes he was calling me over to show me his little world he'd just made, complete with bald thugs and pistols and all sorts of things.
He got the hang of it in just a few minutes and he's 10. I was still browsing the manual wondering if it was to technical for him!
I can tell by his focus and attention that the full verson will be something he will enjoy and can learn a lot from so had to visit Amazon to put in my order, thought I'd chime in on the reviews. The graphics are a lot like Half Life, but since he's a fan, that's quite okay by him. Ease of use is an easy 10 stars.

Comment: I heard about this program through a friend and I recently decided to buy it. I was very impressed with how simple it was. I created a small 3 room "level" in a few minutes. It was amazing how it's just drag-and-drop and then you start playing. I'm going to get started making a full game this week with some custom models that I'm going to create. Now I must admit I do have a computer programming and computer graphic background which does help in certain instances but is not needed if you're looking for something that's easy for you to create your own game in no time.

Comment: this is a very good product. The idiots who had trouble making games have to go to the fpscreator website and look at the 'how to make' videos. you make your own games and can play them too. They also allow you to sell the games you made.

Comment: This is an interesting product, you can make your own FPS game... unfortunately it's only good for bare bone halls and corridors, if you add more than a few`entities' to make the level interesting, the game runs slower than molasses in January...
the models are rather sloppy, and of low polygon count. There's nearly no provision made for outdoors, trees are not included...
the `getting started manual' is a tiny 15 page document that doesn't really explain much, there is a more useful manual on the disk, but you'll have to print it up yourself...
You get WW2 European theater Germans, British and Americans, and a selection of sci-fi characters with the purchase, if you want human zombies (there are odd `space' zombies included) you'll have to visit the FPSCreators web site where you can purchase additional costly `model packs'...
If your interested, then you should download the trial software from the FPSCreator website before you buy this, or like me, you may be disappointed

Comment: This looked like an awsome game online but it takes a game programmer to figure it out I tried it and after hours of trying i couldnt figure it out if your a first person shooter gamer DONT BUY THIS toull never figure it out anyway ITS A WASTE OF MONEY!
