Summary: Nerf Dart Tag-entertaining toy
Comment: Our Grandson was thrilled with the toy--they love to play "shooting" games. I expect the darts will not hold up well because it will be used in a rough way of play. And, I see no educational value, so, it will not be a favored purchase in the future.

Summary: my new nerf dual pistols
Comment: i just got two crossfires at target yesterday, and i like them. now, since i got two, it is harder to reload and recock since i have one in each hand, but i'm getting used to it. the sticky parts at the end work really well, and the cocking mechanism is really good because when you cock, it snaps back to its original position even when cocked, unlike the nightfinder, which when you cock it, the lever at the back gets longer when it is cocked so it's harder to coceal, especially when you're sneaking up on an enemy. the range is pretty decent, and it definitely has some power in its shot. for me, the only real bad thing about it is that once you shoot, it takes a little bit before you shoot again, because you have to shoot, then you have to take a dart out of the holder, put it in, cock and do that on each gun. If you were thinking of only buying the set with only one crossfire, but it is not the most you can afford at the time, I highly urge you to reconsider. This is because although you may be only one person that does necessarily mean you can use only one gun at a time, whereas with one gun it won't take as long to reload, with two guns you'll shoot twice as many darts at a time. ~a germ

Summary: Overview
Comment: O.k, yes, this is a kid's review. No, I do know my guns. So don't rip on this review for being a kid's review! In real life, this would be a hi-caliber, slow firing, inaccurate pistol. I say this because the bullet is ejected with a lot of force, and goes far. It can be used as an accessary when your current gun is ill suited for the current situation(your magstrike isn't pumped and you're attacked for example) and you need a backup weapon. Or when you just want a backup weapon. Overall, great gun. And don't rip on this review.

Summary: Great Toy at a Great Price
Comment: I bought a Crossfire at Target today, [...]. It is a Great nice Nerf gun for the price. I compared it against my Nerf N-Strike - Nite Finder EX-3 because both guns are single-shot and cost about the same. [...]

I tested Crossfire's range indoors and while the Crossfire does go 30 feet, I get about 35 feet from my Nite Finder.

I like the small size of the Crossfire. It's easily carried or concealed. However, the small size does come at cost. I'm an adult and the Crossfire feels less comfortable in my hands. The Nite Finder is just slightly bigger and its grip fits larger hands better in my opinion.

One other nice feature of the Crossfire is that it's pumped by pulling back and returning the top mechicanism, much like a real semi-automatic handgun. So when the gun is cocked it's no longer than when it's un-cocked. On the other hand, when the Nite Finder is cocked its pull mechanism makes it about three inches longer, and harder to carry or conceal.

Summary: fun gun....
Comment: This is a great gun if you are looknig at range in a battle. Supprisingly enough, it might look like a good short range weapon but actually it's not. It's better at long distances because it has an acceptional range. Short range on the other hand, go for the mag stike.
My brother and I have a war every other day with these!!
