What is a Tester?: Testers come in the original manufactured packaging and may be labeled Demonstration or Not for Sale. Testers are intended for promotional display and therefore, may lack the designer caps and fancy outer box packaging. Chanel No. 5 by Chanel. In 1921, Mademoiselle Chanel revolutionized the fragrance world. She launched Chanel No. 5, a fragrance she designed to be unique, incisive, and subtle. No. 5 is considered a timeless classic.

Customer Rating: Summary: Perfect All The Time Comment: Chanel No. 5 is legendary, and deservedly so. This is a fragrance that can be worn any time, any where. I first fell in love with it in my early 20s, proving that you don't have to be "mature" to appreciate this scent. It just so happens that I was also wearing it when my husband first fell in love with me, and one of the first things he remembers about our meeting was the way my perfume smelled. I haven't worn anything else ever since. Why mess with a good thing?
Customer Rating: Summary: Unboxed Chanel #5 a bargain! Comment: So nice to be able to get the real thing at a lower price through Amazon! Not having the box is no problem, since it is packaged so well that that there is no spillage.
Customer Rating: Summary: A Classic Comment: This is truly a timeless scent. I have loved it since I first remember my grandmother making it her signature fragrance. However, it is really not a floral I have been told. Instead it is labeled an "aldehyde fragrance" - not really duplicating anything in nature, but a scent in a class by itself until other aldehydes came into the picture. No wonder this was Marilyn Monroe's favorite perfume.
