Summary: I Tried, I dusted myself off, and I gave up.
Comment: After playing several hours in, and getting pretty near (I think) to the Sisters of Fate I gave up after spending over an hour trying to get past a timed gate. It seemed that the puzzles had evolved over the horrid set from the first installment, but it appears not. If you have to stretch out your game with annoyances, you shouldn't have made it all.

Comment: Having defeated Ares,Kratos now sits upon his throne on Mount Olympus as the new God of War.However,his lust for power grows and he constantly disobeys the will of the Gods.Seeking to conquer yet another city,Kratos joins his army on the ground to strike the final blow,however,this act triggers a betrayal by the Gods and Kratos is rendered mortal once again.It is up to you to fight your way back to Olympus and destroy Zeus for his treachery.Along the way you will encounter various new and dangerous enemies in some of the most technologically advanced environments on the PS2.Huge set pieces and breathtaking visuals blow away anything seen in the first title.Wield new and improved weapons to slice and dice anything that dares get in your way.So if a good story/game length/gorgeous environments/satisfying combat/legendary bosses and purchase satisfaction matter to you then God of War 2 is your kind of game.

Summary: A PS2 game that looks like a PS3 game . . 'nuff said
Comment: God of War II is a visually stunning odessy filled with everyone's favorites of blood, sex, and unadulturated violence. The game designers really pushed what the PS2 can do, which makes you wonder what they'll do when the sequel comes out for PS3. Excellent voice acting and beautiful landscapes makes the linear level setup barely noticable. While the actual area you have to roam around in isn't close to something like Grand Theft Auto, it never feels that way. You always feel like your in a huge area. With a starting boss fight that wouldn't be out of place as an ENDING boss fight for other games, God of War II pushes . . . no slices through every boundary it can.

Comment: This game along with God of War are not only the best games to come out for the PS2 but are actually the best games to come out for any system period. I mean that!!! You are not just holding a controller and just going along in a game but you are actually immersed in the action sweating as though you are running for your very life from these massive creatures in these games. If you do not or have not played these games you are missing out big time!!!!
