Comment: Great for our SHARED computer. I plug it in when I am on-line and files I need/want to save I save to my USB drive. Then when I'm done, simply un-plug it and I don't have to worry if someone is trying to access my files, and I don't have to worry if the files might be offensive to my roommates.Kingston Data Traveler 2 GB USB Drive (DTI/2GB) Is great for keeping my personal data safe as far as I'm concerned, plus I can take it with me and use it on any computer so visiting home, I will still have access to the files I need/want the most

Comment: I've purchased many Kingston flash drives, and I've only ever had one DOA (though they issued an RMA promptly - good service). It was a 2GB, and I worried about the quality of their higher-capacity drives after that. However, the price on this 8GB was good, so I took the plunge and bought two. I have not been disappointed with either one! In fact, the write speed is about twice what I usually see on my 1GB versions of this drive! Highly recommended, especially to those who don't want to bother with U3 or need ReadyBoost. This drive is a solid performer.

Comment: The Kingston flash drives always work right out of the package no matter what system you use. PC or MAC, I have used many of the 1 GB drives and decided to go to an 8 GB to save having so many smaller drives. Very satisfied with all of them.
