Summary: Great picture and price.
Comment: Bought this for a spare bedroom and it is the perfect size for the room. Picture is clear and it hooks up to a pc very easily. It is extremely light and a great price. Found it at the local store and it was $499 plus sales tax of about $35 so this was a great deal. The only trouble I had was getting it to scan all the cable channels but I am sure that it is nothing that reading the manual wouldn't fix.

Comment: Bought this tv and had it at home for 31 days before it developed a solid yellow vertical line. I Called Samsung and they told me to bring it to the official repair shop. After 2 weeks I called the shop - the tech is out the part is on order. A couple weeks later I called the shop - the tech is out the part is on order. A week later I called Samsung and they were shocked - shocked I tell you - to hear the shop had the set so long. they called the shop and later that day the shop called me. They forgot to order the part - ha ha ha! The TV had now been in the shop longer than it was in my home. They asked me if I was willing to wait for the part which should take less time than an exhange...I should have gone for the exchange, but I let them order the part. Now it is two weeks and a day later for a total of about 7 weeks and I called Samsung again. They called the shop and learned that it was repaired 8 days ago and they didn't call me because they only call on saturdays (ha ha ha) and the Magical "caller" guy was out. What a disaster. I kind of expect the tv to develop other problems now just so I can have the joy of taking it back to this shop....yippeeeee...whatever you do, do not buy Samsung.

Comment: I just purchased this TV for my boyfriend's bedroom. The size is perfect and the picture is crystal clear. I haven't had any problems with the sound and am 100% impressed with this set.
If you will be purchasing this (or any other TV set) within the next week and are a Comcast member, Circuit City is giving $100 off all TVs! With this deal, I purchased this exact Samsung TV set (out of box, but with no visible or technical problems) for $280!!
I highly recommend this TV and am considering purchasing more for my house.

Comment: My research reflected Samsung made some of the best LCD TV's and the research is correct. Great picture, no bluring on action images, easy to set up and watch! Price is reasonable and the quality is outstanding. A definite great choice!

Summary: Excellent Picture - Problems with Verizon FIOS
Comment: I love my 22 inch Samsung. I was going to buy a 26 inch set, however, the sofa's only 5 or 6 feet from the TV, so 22 inches is more than adequate. The picture is outstanding, however, I have one problem that cannot be solved because it's with Verizon, not Samsung.
We have Verizon FIOS and our Samsung TV is connected to the Verizon HD box via an HDMI cable. It worked well for a few hours, but then we lost the signal. This happened on and off again for two days, so Verizon sent out a service technician the next day. While he was at the house, he commented about the quality of the picture on the Samsung. He installed a new HDMI cable and he also attached Component Cables as a backup, just in case with had more problems with the HDMI signal.
I'm glad he installed the Component Cables because we lost the HDMI signal several hours after he left. Investigation with Samsung revealed there is an HDMI incompatibility with Verizon Set Top Boxes. There's nothing wrong with the Samsung HDMI connector, it's just that the Verizon Set Top Boxes are slightly behind the time and currently do not support the advanced Samsung HDMI connector. Hopefully a Verizon Firmware upgrade will eventually solve this problem.
Until that time, we're using the Component Cables to connect with the Verizon Set Top box and the picture is still outstanding. In sum, unless you're provider is Verizon FIOS and you're concerned about using the HDMI cable [as opposed to Component Cables], I highly recommend this LCD HD TV.
As for the audio, it's fine and on par with other LCD TV's. If you're an audio buff and need top of the line audio, connect the TV to an inexpensive Samsung [or any other brand] Home Theater system.
We're pleased with the 22 inch screen as it works well with our sofa located so close to the TV. You'll have to be the judge on screen size because it's obviously a personal preference. We also like the fact that it doesn't take up very much room.
