With Casios non-stop, self-adjusting Wave Ceptor Timepieces, you don't have to worry about replacing batteries because theyre Solar Powered and youll have confidence of always knowing the correct time via Atomic Timekeeping Technology. Several times per day, these watches receive the official US government time via a time calibration signal from the atomic transmitter in Ft. Collins, CO. This eliminates the need to manually set the time & date, adjust for daylight saving time or leap years once the users home city is set.

Summary: Cutting edge technology / Conservative styling
Comment: Solar-powered gadgets intrigue me, as do watches and clocks that self-set to the Government's atomic clock via a time encoded radio signal. Casio is the only manufacturer I know of that produces such watches. Most of Casio's solar atomic watches have gaudy labeling on their bezels, which I think looks ugly. This model, however, does not. Its oversized analog dial is great for people with low vision like myself. However, its digital display is quite small. It is super-accurate because it sets itself automatically every night. Its rechargeable battery is powered through solar energy produced by light sources. Its resin band is very comfortable. It has three alarms and a stopwatch along with other neat features. This watch is a very good value in my humble opinion.
